Looking for a unique corporate activity to wow you're clients? Or maybe a team building trip? Our corporate packages are tailored to your requirements.
We at Salmon Fishing Holidays Scotland offer a uniquely bespoke service tailored to suit the needs and objectives of your team event entirely. Whether you are looking to reward your team with a fun team day out, nurture relationships within high-performing teams, or establish new relationships between merging teams, we have got you covered.
For business customers, we have previously provided guided salmon fishing, salmon and golf package events, as well as corporate trout fishing. We can offer anything from a single day out of the office team building to week-long events to impress those special clients.
Corporate fishing events are great for forging new relationships with potential clients. You can also find that they are necessary to strengthen and maintain the relationships that you already have. Competition is fierce to win and retain clients, and organisations need to think outside the box regarding corporate entertainment and hospitality.
There is no other activity that can offer the same excitement and thrill as what a trip to one of Scotland's big four rivers can offer. Include luxury riverbank dining, private transfers and some of the best salmon fishing guides in Scotland, you genuinely have something extraordinary to offer your corporate guests.
Our corporate fishing packages come complete with safety equipment, Premium tackle hire, clothing and all transportation, if required, from your accommodation of choice or either Glasgow or Edinburgh Airports. We will also provide riverside catering for the party. Whether you prefer a simple packed lunch, BBQ during the summer months overlooking the river, or a five-course luxury lunch served in the fishing lodge or under the marque alfresco style, the choice is yours.
Our corporate salmon fishing events start on the riverbank with refreshments and an introduction to this wonderful sport. Your guests will meet the ghillies and guides accompanying the party while on the river.
Your group will then have a quick lesson on safety on the riverbank, river etiquette and how to wade in the river safely using a wading stick. After this briefing, the party will receive premium fishing equipment, including waders, rods, life jackets, and wading sticks. Once the party is tackled up, they will have a practical demonstration from a qualified instructor on the Roll and Switch Spey casts. We at Salmon Fishing Holidays Scotland feel that health and safety are paramount, so the ratio of anglers to guides for novices is two anglers to one guide and for the more experienced angler, it is three anglers to one guide.
All the salmon fishing beats we use in Scotland are private and your group, dependent on size, will have exclusive access to their section of the river.
River Tay - The world-famous River Tay needs little introduction in salmon fishing circles. The River Tay runs through the heart of beautiful Perthshire and is arguably the most famous Salmon River in the British Isles. It is the longest river in Britain and is mighty not only in size but also in reputation. Annually, the Tay produces over 6000 salmon and grilse. The Tay still holds the British rod-caught record for the heaviest salmon, weighing in at a colossal 64lbs. The River Tay offers excellent salmon fishing in Scotland throughout the season. Even when the river is at its lowest levels, salmon will still run upstream due to its multiple loch-fed waters and general depth. The Tay produces fresh, hard-fighting salmon from opening day in January right through to October.
For group sizes over 12, we suggest splitting the group into different sub-groups of up to 6 guests, depending on previous experience. We recommend combining the guided salmon fishing with a round of golf, clay pigeon shooting, or maybe even a whiskey distillery visit, finishing with sampling a few of Scotland's finest malt whiskies. We can also organise a private whisky-tasting experience on the water's edge. Nothing compares to taking a sip of Scotland's golden nectar outdoors while breathing in the fresh Scottish air!
Scotland is not only renowned for its salmon fishing, but it also holds a special place in the hearts of golf enthusiasts. Scotland is considered the ultimate destination for avid golfers worldwide, with a rich golfing heritage spanning centuries. From iconic courses like the Old Course and Kingsbarns in St. Andrews, Fife to the challenging Carnoustie links in Tayside, there is a golfing haven to cater to even the most discerning players. Perthshire and Fife boast abundant top-notch golf courses, making them a golfer's paradise in Scotland.
Scotland's fame extends beyond its fishing prowess, as it is equally if not more, celebrated for its national treasure - whisky. Nestled a mere 40-minute drive from the main River Tay, you'll find Dalwhinnie, one of Scotland's most esteemed distilleries.
Situated just a short distance away from the picturesque banks of the River Tay, County Clays proudly stands as Scotland's most significant sporting clay pigeon range. Also, it boasts the tallest shooting tower in the country. Sporting clays, the skillful art of shooting simulated game, finds its ultimate expression at County Clays, offering enthusiasts a staggering selection of over 50 targets to test their marksmanship.
