There are some fantastic walks along the river or alternatively visit Dunkeld which is only five miles away. Dunkeld has numerous excellent bars and restaurants 

Over the next two days’ you will be salmon fishing on the mighty River Tay. You will be fishing on two of the most productive beats private beats on the river. Your Salmon Fishing Holidays Scotland guide will be waiting to meet and greet you at Taymount Holiday Cottage in the morning. (Private transfers can be arranged if required.) 

Your guide will be with you throughout your time on the Rive Tay, providing you with a unique service. He will give you advice on what tackle to use, point out the best salmon fishing spots, help you with your fishing techniques if required and fly casting.
