The weather has been very unsettled across Scotland over the past few days. Last weekend the remanence of tropical storm Lee and Maria both brought heavy rain and strong winds to many parts of the country. This has led to river levels rising and falling on almost a daily basis. Unfortunately, this does not make for good salmon fishing conditions in Scotland. When river levels are so unsettled it is important to make the best of the conditions. You could do this by concentrating your efforts on fishing when the water is dropping and clearing. It usually at this time that you have the best chance of making contact with that Scottish salmon.
